Who can do it?

 

Any person weighing less than 90 kg and not suffering from any heart condition or blood pressure. There is NO age limit. George Bush Sr did it on his 85th birthday as do many senior citizens in good health. If you enjoy riding roller coasters, you should definitely do it!

 

 

 

Do I need any training?

 

There is an option of doing a ‘Tandem Jump’ which requires ZERO prior training or experience. Here, you jump out of the plane with a licensed sky-diver attached to your harness. The diver takes care of operating the parachute and your safety, and all you need to do is ENJOY!

 

 

 

So, where can I do it?

 

There are many places in Bulgaria where you can go sky diving, but we always go to bases which have licensed divers working. The place I went skydiving and would recommend is Ihtiman Base because of the reasonable rate and high-safety standards. It is located 45 km from Sofia. The base is well-known. I would advise you to go skydiving in Bulgaria as rates here are much lower than other EU countries. We also offer skydiving at the Black Sea coast in the town of Primorsko.

 

 

 

So how much does it cost?

 

The cost varies. At Ihtiman Base, it would cost you about 175,00 Euros to jump from a height of 3,000m. This kind of jump is highly recommended for first timers. You have the option of getting a video made of your jump as well, which costs another 15,00 Euros (the video is optional).

 

 

 

Will I be safe?

 

Yes, sky diving in modern times is very safe (unlike bungee jumping etc). The divers jump out of the plane with one high quality parachute and one spare parachute, making chances of an injury absolutely minimal. There are people who have dived out of planes for 12,000 times and are still alive and healthy.
